

Chris Norval - Executive Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Chris led the financing and founding activities of Green Gas in 2005. He has extensive senior management experience gained in CEO, general management and CFO roles in the global resources sector. Prior to Green Gas, Chris was CEO and President of SUAL International Group, a business with Russian aluminium, Kazakh coal and African Tantalum production.
He spent a significant part of his career at BHP Billiton. As head of Corporate Finance, he oversaw most of the transactions to create BHP Billiton, including the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Billiton Plc in 1997. His strategic skills were honed in the entrepreneurial Billiton Plc and its predecessor Gencor.
Chris is a Chartered Accountant and graduated with a BCom(Hons) from Rand Afrikaans University in South Africa
Claudia Mennen-Vermeule - Chief Financial Officer
Claudia has extensive experience with capital market transactions from previous positions as Vice President Finance and acting CFO with the Dockwise Group.
At Dockwise Claudia was part of the project team for the sale of the group to 3i, a private investment equity firm, responsible for re-financing, several acquisitions and the initial public offering (IPO) at the Oslo Stock Exchange in 2007. In addition, she was acting CFO during the process of capital raising and listing at NYSE Euronext stock market in 2009. Prior to joining the Dockwise Group, Claudia was part of the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers for nearly 10 years and was mainly involved in the audit of international Dutch headquartered groups.
Claudia holds a master degree in Information Technology from the University of Tilburg and is a Dutch Certified Public Accountant. She is a Dutch citizen and resides in the Netherlands.
Bob Shekleton - Chief Operating Officer
Bob has more than 25 years of experience in project delivery and operation. A Civil Engineer by training he commenced his career working in the construction of onshore oil and gas facilities servicing the North Sea. As well as in the UK he has led major construction and engineering projects in Africa, Russia, Ukraine and Germany.
Bob was the Managing Director of a division of Mowlem plc in the UK where he was responsible for end to end delivery of the company's DBFO activities and has extensive experience in long term public / private partnership contracts having led bid and delivery teams on contracts totalling in excess £5 billion whole life cost under the UK Government's PFI. He joins Green Gas having spent 18 months with a renewable energy company based in the City of London.
Roland Mader - Managing Director Coal Mine Gas
Roland initiated the concept and co-founded Green Gas. He focuses on project development and operations of coal mine gas projects from subsurface to surface operations. Roland joined G.A.S. Energietechnologie GmbH in 2002 as Director of Coal Mine Gas, following 10 years in the international oil and gas industry.
Roland is Vice-Chairman of the Bureau of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Ad Hoc Group of Experts on Coal Mine Methane. He is also a member of the Extended Bureau of the UNCECE Committee on Sustainable Energy in Geneva, Switzerland. He is the author of numerous publications on coal mine gas related issues.
Roland has an M.E. in Mining Engineering from the Technical University of Clausthal, Germany and an MBA from IESE Business School, Spain.
Antonín Kunz - Managing Director of Green Gas DPB
Antonin joined the Drilling Division of OKD, DPB a.s. in 1986, he fulfilled many successful roles in the division and was appointed as Head of the Drilling Division in 1995. In 1996 he was appointed as Production Director. After the merger with Green Gas in 2007, he was appointed as Managing Director for the newly renamed company, Green Gas DPB.
Over the years, Antonin has become an expert in mine gas and mine services management, including gas and electricity management; mine gas utilisation and CHP production; mine and natural gas exploration, production and distribution; as well as international drilling and geological engineering (Slovakia, Turkey, Poland, Switzerland and Greece).
Antonin obtained a degree from the faculty of Mines and Geology, at the University of Mining in Ostrava, Czech Republic and a degree from the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.

Duncan G Cox - President and Chairman - Green Gas Americas Inc.
Duncan Joined Green Gas International in August 2007 as the Chairman of Green Gas America and in early 2009 added to his role the position President. In this role Duncan is responsible for operating the Americas business unit including business development, executing all projects and managing all assets and facilities in both North America and South America.
Duncan is a Professional Engineer who has more than 25 years of diverse experience working as COO, CEO and Managing Director for various major international firms in Canada, USA and UK. These firms were all involved in manufacturing, engineering, procurement and construction of infrastructure projects. These infrastructure projects consisted of bridges, stadiums, rapid transit, thermal power plants, transmission lines and pressure vessels and notably in worldwide emerging markets.
Duncan has a Bachelors of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering From the University of Waterloo in Canada.
